Addy Passaro

Addy is the founder and heart of Homegrown Yoga. She grew up in Bellefontaine, and after leaving and coming back more than once, she built the studio she wished her hometown had.

Her background

Addy is a retired certified athletic trainer with a master's degree in exercise science, which shapes how she teaches. Her classes pay close attention to proper alignment, core stability, and the anatomy behind each pose, so you move in a way that is safe and builds real strength. She completed her 200-hour training at V Power Yoga in Columbus and her advanced 300-hour training at Yoga on High in Columbus, and she holds an RYT-500 and YACEP credential with Yoga Alliance.

Her teaching

Every class with Addy starts by setting an intention and ends by returning to it. As she says, when she found yoga, she found herself, and she teaches to help other women find that same steadiness, in their bodies and with each other. She loves making yoga reachable for everyone, from seated and gentle classes to strong vinyasa.
